Hanuman Beniwal: The Waqf Amendment Bill was presented in the Lok Sabha on 2 April. Many votes were cast in favour and against the bill. In this connection, Hanuman Beniwal, MP from Nagaur seat of Rajasthan, also made his stand clear. Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) chief Hanuman Beniwal has described the Waqf Bill as against Muslims.
Hanuman Beniwal said in Parliament, “The message has been given to the Muslims of the country that the Waqf Amendment Bill is against the Muslim community. Let me remind you that Muslim revolutionaries have also contributed to the country’s freedom movement. Revolutionaries like Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, Ashfaqullah Khan, Maulana Mohammad Ali Jor have done a lot for the country. When the government brings such a bill, it should not forget their contribution and try not to send such a message to the Muslim community.”
Hanuman Beniwal said that when the bill came, there was a heated atmosphere in the Parliament and the government decided that the bill would be sent to the JPC. However, when the opposition presented its suggestions before the JPC, they were ignored. When more suggestions came inside the JPC, it was only a formality. The amendments that the opposition wanted were not kept. My demand is that it should be considered with a big mind.

Hanuman Beniwal put forward these questions
In Parliament, Hanuman Beniwal asked the ruling party that in the recent past, many allegations have been made regarding the property of the Waqf Bill, but is this solution against those allegations or is there any political agenda? At the same time, the second question is whether the amended bill will not interfere with religious freedom? If this is not the case, then why is the common Muslim of the country opposing it?
People of Makrana, Ladnun, Nagaur, Didwana are saying that there is so much noise, what are you doing by going to the Parliament? This bill is leading to economic, religious and social inequalities. There is a change in the policies of the government but there is no visible improvement in the education and employment status of Muslims.
Is there a conspiracy to declare it government property?
Hanuman Beniwal also asked whether there is a conspiracy to declare Waqf property as government property? By bringing this bill, questions are being raised on the intention of the government. The policies of the government are made keeping in mind the interests of industrialists. The land was taken for religious and social welfare, but usurping it and distributing it to big industrialists will be against the interests of the Muslim community. How will it be ensured that this bill will not violate the rights of the Muslim community?
