Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to ensure the safety of women, the needs of farmers and to conduct the examinations properly. He held a review meeting with all the divisional commissioners, district magistrates, police captains and senior administrative and police officials through video conferencing. During this, he said that negligence in resolving public complaints and problems cannot be accepted under any circumstances. The Chief Minister was speaking on topics like law and order of the state, IGRS, CM Helpline, preparations for the upcoming festivals, flood situation, dengue control and health services late on Sunday night.
CM Yogi said that every complaint and problem received through IGRS and CM Helpline should be resolved according to the complainant. The Chief Minister said that the government is accountable to the public, public interest is paramount. The satisfaction of the complainant and his feedback will be the real measure of the performance of the officers.
Anti Romeo Squad should be activated
CM Yogi, while describing the safety of women and daughters as the top priority of the government, directed that the activities of Anti Romeo Squad should be activated in all the districts. The Chief Minister said that a new phase of ‘Mission Shakti’ will begin in the upcoming Navratri, for which all the districts should make extensive preparations from now onwards. The Chief Minister expressed happiness over the successful completion of the recent festivals and directed the police-administration to be on alert mode in view of Anant Chaturdashi and Vishwakarma Puja.
Ranking of public complaints released
In the meeting, the Chief Minister released the ranking of public complaints received on IGRS and CM Helpline at division-wise, district-wise, tehsil-wise, zone-wise, range-wise, district police and police station level. Directing the concerned District Magistrates and Police Officers, he said that the solution should be ensured with full sensitivity while respecting the sentiments of every victim. He warned that disciplinary action will be taken against the officers who file misleading reports.
Do not let farmers face shortage of fertilizers
While reviewing the districts affected by floods and excessive rains, he said that relief work should be made more effective and guidance of public representatives must be taken in this. In view of the possibility of diseases during the rainy season, he directed the municipal bodies to immediately drain out the waterlogging and strengthen the sanitation system. On this occasion, the Chief Minister asked to pay special attention to the availability of fertilizers for the Kharif season. He directed that no farmer in the state should face shortage of fertilizers, the supply chain should be closely monitored and strict action should be taken against black marketing or hoarding.
Instructions issued regarding PET exam
The preparations for PET were also discussed in detail in the meeting. The Chief Minister was told that the examination will be held at 1479 centers set up in 48 districts, in which more than 25.31 lakh candidates will participate. The Chief Minister directed that special arrangements should be ensured for the confidentiality of question papers, deployment of sector magistrates, live CCTV control room, city traffic system and convenience of the candidates during the rainy season. The Chief Minister said that strict action will be taken against those who spread any kind of rumor or misleading information during the examination.
