Yogi government has accepted the resignation of famous IAS Abhishek Singh. Yes… Abhishek Singh had taken a photo in front of the car during his duty as an observer in the Gujarat Assembly and uploaded it on social media.
On this, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh issued a show cause notice to IAS Abhishek Singh and suspended him. Abhishek Singh was under suspension since February 2023, after which he tendered his resignation in October 2023.
After getting approval from the Central Government after about five months, the Yogi Government of UP accepted his resignation. Let us tell you that after sending his resignation, IAS Abhishek Singh was also seen in a dance video with Bollywood actress Sunny Leone.

Actually, Abhishek Singh is a resident of Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh and became IAS after clearing UPSC in 2011. This story of Abhishek Singh becoming an officer is also quite filmy.

One year after clearing the exam, Abhishek Singh married Durga Shakti Nagpal. Abhishek Singh and Durga Shakti Nagpal have two daughters.
Durga Shakti Nagpal is also a famous IAS officer like Abhishek. According to media reports, after becoming IAS, Abhishek Singh’s first joining was in Uttar Pradesh cadre. In 2015, he was sent to Delhi cadre for 3 years. In 2018, the period of deputation was further extended for 2 years. During this time he took medical leave for 2 years.
Then on March 19, 2020, the Delhi government sent him back to UP cadre. It is said that Abhishek Singh did not join the job for a long time. During this time he did not even give any satisfactory answer to the appointment department. Later he joined on June 30, 2022.
After this, the UP government sent the list of observers for the Gujarat Assembly elections, in which the name of Abhishek Singh was also included. He took charge of observer duty. But he posted a photo on social media of a film hero posing with an Election Commission car and wrote in the caption that he was on duty in Ahmedabad.
The photo went viral and he was then removed from the post of observer. The Election Commission said that the work of an observer is a very responsible one and not a publicity stunt. After this Abhishek Singh disappeared without taking leave. After this, the Yogi government issued a show cause notice and suspended him. Well, now after his resignation, the market of speculation is hot that IAS Abhishek Singh will start a new innings by turning to politics.
There is talk that Abhishek Singh may contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Jaunpur Lok Sabha seat. Abhishek Singh himself has indicated this regarding his activism in Jaunpur. These days he is going to various places in Jaunpur and meeting people. Besides, he has also started a free bus service from Jaunpur to Ram temple in Ayodhya.
